iLinux Servers: Far beyond usability...

append delete DigiDeLorean

Just a few days after my post about usability iLinux team released update 2.29 and with it "Servers".

And it felt like WTF deja vu all over again... These people don't mess around. Now apart from a full computer setup in my USB stick I have Servers too and easy as an iPhone. The Tactical use of Servers goes without saying and field agents will weaponize it ASAP but the revolution Servers bring to users and businesses will be massive.

The main idea behind Servers in iLinux seems to be this:

You know how to use an iPhone? You know how to use Servers.

Now imagine that in practice for the novice/average/pro computer user...

Welcome to the Anti-Matrix.

Cool! I wonder if this can be used on any distro/OS. If the developer actually cares about this it can benefit everyone.

@Epic Man

The million dollar question is why all linux distro developers didn't care enough to design anything similar until now? They didn't want to benefit everyone?

@Epic Man

Of course we care to benefit everyone with our innovations.

That's why iLinux OS is Free, so that everyone can use it for Free and benefit from it.

@Animal

iLinux OS Servers Interface is desinged for iLinux OS only and we do not permit it's use on other Linux Distributions.

It seems that you are an Ubuntu/Manjaro fan, so why don't you ask Ubuntu and Manjaro Developers to create something similar?

There you go, this confirm everything. Proprietary and non-free indeeded. iLinux is not a free as freedom OS.

iLinux OS is FREE.

It's just not Free as you want it to be in order to profit from it...

If you don't like it don't use it and stop bitching about it.

WOW! My old MacBook is already backing up in my iLinux rig! Cooool!!!

Time Machine Server works perfect on macOS Monterey.

Congrats!

iLinux OS is FREE.

It's not free, and can you just stop thinking that I'm a person like that?
iLinux is free as price, indeeded. But I'm talking about free as freedom. Mean you give your users 4 essential freedoms:

The freedom to run the program as you wish, for any purpose (freedom 0).
The freedom to study how the program works, and change it so it does your computing as you wish (freedom 1). Access to the source code is a precondition for this.
The freedom to redistribute copies so you can help others (freedom 2).
The freedom to distribute copies of your modified versions to others (freedom 3). By doing this you can give the whole community a chance to benefit from your changes. Access to the source code is a precondition for this.

And thus not related to price at all.

https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.en.html

This also show how blind you are at confirming information and just posting false claims. **Research before posting**.

If you don't like iLinux OS don't use it or develop your own Linux Distribution.

Coming here and bitching about your opinion again and again will not change a thing in our Policy/License.

Deal with it.

It's their software and they have the right to do whatever they want with it. If you don't respect it you are a fascist. Enough is enough. Stop hijacking threads.

Fine, stop telling me a mafia. That's all.

You are a member of the Linux Mafia Army.

Your words and your behaviour in this Community proves it beyond any doubt.

We do not respond kindly to Dark Web Gangs thugs. Deal with it.

Then don't expect me to just leave like there is nothing happened.

If you call me a Dark Web Gangs thugs, I would suggest you go visit doctor and get his recommendations asap else you might have problems.

Any serious proof that I'm a mafia than shitty post from Google and what I did that you call me a mafia? I literally just giving suggestions and correcting all of your stuff. If you don't agree, fine. But this is beyond control.

append delete #21. ClickNin

If you are not able to tell what in my post and my behavior make you think I'm a mafia, your post is unfounded and thus you are the real mafia here.

Just read everything you have posted in this Community.

You are abusing the Absolute Freedom of Speech and our No Censorship Policy.

If you don't like iLinux OS don't use it or develop your own Linux Distribution.

Coming here and bitching about our License again and again will not change a thing in our Policy/License.

iLinux OS is our Product. Not yours.

If you disagree with our License DO NOT USE iLINUX OS.

You Linux Mafia Thugs will never get our code or profit from it in any way.

Deal with it.

Do you mind if we use your line:

in the Servers section of our website?

It's really an epic line!

You are abusing the Absolute Freedom of Speech and our No Censorship Policy.

Abusing? Are you kidding me?!? Freedom of Speech means I can say whatever I want, without any punishment or restrictions, plus you are saying that your forum have a "No censorship policy", so that's mean whatever I said is for your "Freedom of Speech", and then you said that I'm abusing it, then what kind of Freedom Of Speech and No Censorship are you even trying to promote here?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_speech

If you don't like iLinux OS don't use it or develop your own Linux Distribution.

And I already does, thank you. I'm just giving suggestions because if you can make it just better then this OS have so much potential. If you don't want to listen to it, fine. But stop defending your own stupid opinions by using random bullshit from Google.

Coming here and bitching about our License again and again will not change a thing in our Policy/License.

I'm not bitching it, it's a real thing. Linux kernel is GPL-licensed and Debian is open source, but you are bundling it with a proprietary license, which is not compatible with what these has been licensed and this violated them.

iLinux OS is our Product. Not yours.

If you disagree with our License DO NOT USE iLINUX OS.

You Linux Mafia Thugs will never get our code or profit from it in any way.

Deal with it.

Nah, crappy stuff. I already know this OS is yours, and I don't even say that I want to take this OS as mine, I don't even have access to source code, and plus this OS is licensed, so how the hell am I going to do that?
Open source software does allow monetization, but the source code MUST be provided for free, so people can just grab the source code, compile it and use it for free.

If you still don't understand, I guess you cannot get any further.

append delete #26. ClickNin

EDIT: Depending on how the program was licensed.

append delete #27. Not CCP

It is very obvious that the creator doesn't understand open source....

You can't "profit" from open source by just having the code, you need to donate, but you can profit from other ways, which I don't know.

Besides, iLinux violates the LGPL.... as the tools in iLinux are not open sourced...

append delete #28. DidiDeLorean

@ClickNin @Not CCP

You are constantly highjacking threads. That's abuse. Whoever pays you doesn't pay you enough for what's coming... You have managed to piss off many people is this forum. Good luck with that...

append delete #29. Linux Support Team

@ClickNin @Not CCP

You are constantly highjacking irrelevant threads and say the same things again and again and again, no matter the subject of the thread. That's abuse.

We know that you Linux Mafia Army thugs (and your handlers) are very upset with iLinux OS and will do anything to destroy it but this will be your downfall. Mark our words.

@ClickNin @Not CCP

Let's remember root's words about your DARK WEB LINUX MAFIA ARMY GANG:

---

Well, let's talk about the so called "Linux Community"...

It's no secret that 99% of all those "Linux Community Websites & Linux YouTube Channels & Linux IRC Chat Channels", promote 5-10 Linux Distros out of 100's. This is not random.

And it goes deeper that that. The hostile behaviour of this "Linux Mafia Army" when you talk about other distros than the ones they push, is classic...

All those "Linux Community Websites & Linux YouTube Channels" sell your browsing data to 1000's of capitalist companies by spying on you via Cookies, so even in most Linux distros (FOSS or not) you are the product...

I am not saying that it's bad to want to make money, but if at the same time you are preaching Internet Freedom and FOSS, it's a bit hypocritical at best.

So, don't lecture us about the so called "Linux Community".

We know the subversive and covert tactics of your "Dark Web Gang": Online Mob/Swarm Misinformation, Online Mob/Swarm Slandering, Online Mob/Swarm Character Assassination, Online Mob/Swarm Psychological Operations, Online Mob/Swarm Sabotage.

You may have positioned yourself at the backbone of the internet, pulling strings from the shadows, but you are not invisible.

---

They want you to release your Proprietary Code as FOSS in order to profit from it.

It's a classic tactic of the "Linux Mafia Army", to apply negative psychological pressure in order to discredit and discourage developers, steal their code and profit from it in any way.

And because they plan far ahead, I think they fear of what iLinux may become.

In today's 2.31 Live Update we introduce MariaDB SQL Server in our Servers Suite.

Our future plans include the release of a Cloud Server and a Chat Server.
